We are embracing this season of change, letting go, and turning inward through activities and experiences that connect us to this rhythm of the season! We’ll learn about different types of campfires before creating our own together. S’mores are absolutely on the menu and we’re happy to accomodate dietary needs. With darkness increasing and inviting us to slumber a bit longer, we’ll also be making small dream pillows filled with herbs harvested right here on the farm.
These multi-age play days leave ample room for student-led play and creativity. The mixed-age and free-range environment benefit both younger and older students in developing emotional and cognitive development as well as creativity and empathy.
We will be outside regardless of weather, seeking shelter in the barn, tent, and/or woods should it rain. Pack a snack and come ready to adventure and explore!
